Practice staff are expected to treat patients with respect and courtesy. We expect the same in return when interacting with our team.
We apply the NHS operates a zero tolerance policy on violence, abuse, and harassment. This includes physical threats, verbal abuse, or behaviour causing fear or distress. Any such incidents may lead to immediate removal from our patient list and possible Police involvement.
We will remove individuals who pose a risk to staff, patients, or others. Patients will be notified in writing, and the incident will be recorded in their medical records.
Dr Minhas, Managing Partner, and Mrs Denise Payne, Practice Manager, state:
“We are here to care for everyone, including the seriously ill, the vulnerable, and those at the end of life. No one is allowed to abuse our staff or undermine them in the work they do. Disruptive patients will be removed promptly, allowing us to focus on delivering vital care. Those excluded will need to find services elsewhere appropriate to their needs and behaviours”
