To support easier access to contraception services and reduce demand on Primary Care, the ICB have been working with community pharmacies to offer this service.
Many GP practices no longer provide routine oral contraceptive pill services. Instead, you can access contraception through local pharmacies or online.
You can start or continue the contraceptive pill without a GP prescription. Pharmacists are trained to provide safe, confidential advice and help you choose the right option.
